Welcome to the new site!

We hope to update the marina’s webpage more frequently now, and provide a more user-friendly community atmosphere on the web. There has been a lot of new stuff going on lately – Sarles is back in the business of building wooden boats, and several new businesses have joined the marina village.

Check out the Sarles Boatyard & Marina Blog, where you’ll find weekly updates on what’s going on around the marina. Look for special event listings, special promotions, photos & news from Annapolis’ oldest working boatyard!

Sarles Boatyard & Marina has been in the boat business since 1907. Located on Spa Creek in Annapolis, Sarles stands proud as the oldest working boatyard in town, and we take great pride and interest in your boat. Our yard offers a friendly atmosphere with a personal touch. Transients are always welcome.

We have ice, showers, restrooms, electricity, water, a barbecue area, portico, wet undercover storage, wet open slips, winter dry storage, lift for smaller boats and the only railway ramp in Annapolis.

Complete restoration work is also available. We specialize in power boats (sailors are welcome!). Our RAILWAY brings your boat inside the completely closed repair area, where the weather does not hamper the repairs, and the best quality work can be accomplished.

Debra Smith and her staff are committed to maintaining the Sarles tradition, and upholding the reputation Sarles has earned over it’s 100+ year history. Our entire staff works hard to ensure that Sarles Boatyard will remain a landmark in the Annapolis community for years to come.
